Move well.
Feel strong.
Enjoy every stage.

Pregnancy and the postnatal period are some of the most significant, and yet most underserved, times in a woman's physical life. I'm here to make sure you feel safe, supported and genuinely good in your body, at every stage.

I understand what
you're going through

Hi, I'm Lucy. I'm a Personal Trainer, Women's Wellness Coach and pre and postnatal fitness instructor based in Tring, Hertfordshire. As a mum to two boys, my first pregnancy was wrought with fear around what was safe to do exercise wise and I felt frustrated with the lack of information and advice on continuing doing what I loved. This is what led me to train as a pre and postnatal exercise specialist, so I could help women feel confident and empowered with facts for them to reap the benefits (as there are so many) of exercise at every trimester.

With the ever-evolving field of women’s health, I am always studying to be up to date on the latest findings as it pertains to pre and postnatal health and exercise, so you can feel safe and supported.

The benefits of exercise in pregnancy and postpartum are being more widely studied in society, already we know exercise in pregnancy improves maternal and neonatal health outcomes, reducing risks of gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, preterm birth, and excessive weight gain. Postnatally exercise helps avoid or improve pelvic floor disfunction, reduce anxiety and depression, improve metabolic health & aerobic function, lower risk of acute and chronic diseases.

Does any of this sound like you?

  • You want to stay active during pregnancy but aren't sure what's safe

  • You feel nervous about exercise after your baby was born

  • You've been told to wait 6 weeks but have no idea what to do next

  • You have been diagnosed with pelvic floor disfunction (prolapse, leaking urine, buldging) or diastasis recti and need expert guidance

  • You just want to feel like yourself again, strong, energised, present

  • You are time-poor and not sure when you could make change

  • You're an NCT group who'd love to exercise together as a community

Regular exercise is linked to a 40% lower risk of developing postpartum depression (PPD). It also shows a significant, moderate effect in reducing existing PPD symptoms.

Every session is built around where you are right now, not where you were before pregnancy, and not some idealised goal. Here's what working with me actually looks like.

Gentle. Progressive.
Evidence-led.

💪
Strength & conditioning

Safe, progressive strength work adapted for pregnancy and postnatal recovery, keeping you strong without adding unnecessary stress to your changing body. Using my Breathe into Strength Programme we will use breathing techniques to help connect/reconnect to the core and how this helps improve overall exercise form and strength with lowered risk of common injuries.

🌀
Core &
pelvic floor

With motherhood our alignment and pelvic floor will see huge changes, which are often dismissed as just what ‘mums have to deal with’. I believe every women shouldn’t have to ‘grin and bear it’, and understand what signs and symptoms to look out for when it comes to pelvic health.

🌿
Intuitive
movement

Some days need intensity. Others need gentleness. I'll help you tune into your body's signals and build a practice that's sustainable for the long term.

🧠
Mindset

Becoming a mum changes everything. Your identity, your body, your brain, relationships and your priorities.

Coaching sessions create space to address anxiety, identity shifts and self-worth, not just fitness goals.

🥗
Nutritional
support
